Meet at 2PM “the horse” at Michigan and Congress.

STOP Terrorizing Immigrants and Refugees!
Demonstrate Saturday July 7th
Take to the streets in cities and towns nationwide
TO DEMAND:
This Nightmare Must End:
The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go!

Children torn from parents… concentration camps for tens or hundreds of thousands… threats to bypass judicial process… The assault on immigrants is the linchpin and battering ram of a whole fascist program:

* The Muslim Ban. * White supremacy and terror. * Environmental deregulation as the planet burns. * Open misogyny and theocratic restrictions on abortion and even birth control. * Stripping away rights recently won by LGTBQ people. * 8 million on the verge of starvation in Yemen due to U.S. backed war. * Threats of nuclear annihilation.

This is an American Fascism: “Trump/Pence regime’s ‘Make America Great Again’ is a 21st century fascist program of Manifest Destiny – ‘America First’ – wrapped in the flag and Mike Pence’s Bible taken literally, with a program of white supremacy, misogyny, and xenophobia.”

ENOUGH. Basta Ya!

We know enough to see what has been put into motion. If we allow them to get away with caging and torturing children, they know there is nothing they can’t get away with. Every crisis this regime gets through strengthens them. This is a shock we cannot normalize.

We – the masses of people – must act to stop this whole fascist program and demand that this illegitimate, immoral, regime be removed from power.

This cannot wait until November. The Trump/Pence Regime will not be bound by the normal political process – they are shattering norms, remaking the courts, radically altering the whole political and global landscape. The Democratic Party will not stop this. For them, empire and order is more important than justice, even if that means the order of fascism.

On July 7th: Join Refuse Fascism, mobilize your organization or your friends and neighbors and take to the streets across the country to raise the demand:

This Nightmare Must End: The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go!

In the Name of Humanity, We REFUSE to Accept a Fascist America!

Thousands showed up to Saint Sabina’s Peace March but we can’t stop there. Now that the country has seen what is happening on the south and west side of Chicago, it’s time for action. We’re going to disrupt the flow of traffic July 7th to make sure they know we’re serious.

We invite all of Chicago because the answer belongs to all of Chicago. No one gets a pass to bring peace.

We will march on the Dan Ryan from 79th Street to 68th with a list of five demands carried overhead on a banner.

WHAT WE WANT

  • Resources for our communities
  • National Common Sense Gun Laws
  • Jobs
  • Excellent Schools
  • Economic Development

The Internet is angry! Protest for net neutrality at Rep Peter Roskam’s office

Supporting Organizations: Fight for the Future

Contact Info: team@fightforthefuture.org

Visit Organizers' Event Webpage for Most Up-To-Date Info

Sign up to RSVP for the protest and we’ll send you everything you need to participate and connect you via email with other net neutrality supporters in your area. Plan to show up at 12pm local time on June 26th, and please invite everyone you know!

Why now?
The FCC repeal of net neutrality just officially went into effect and the Internet is outraged. But Congress can still overrule Ajit Pai and restore the free and open Internet using the Congressional Review Act (CRA).

Why here?
The CRA already passed in the Senate. Now we need to do the same in the House. So on June 26th we’re channeling our anger productively and protesting outside our representative’s offices in key districts across the country. We need 218 reps to sign a “discharge petition” in order to force a vote and win.

How can I help?
First, RSVP for the protest right now so we can be in touch! Then send this link to everyone you know and invite them to attend. We’ll need volunteers on the day of the protest to pick up banners and signs (we’ll take care of the printing!) and lead others in chants etc., so check the box if you can help with that.
