All out and against colonial borders & the Immigrant Rights Lobby [IRL]

Stand with our communities in opposition to the so called “US-Mexico Border” and the logic of family friendly detention centers, deportations, anti-blackness, anti-indigineity & border militarization.

Stand with our communities in opposition to the immigrant rights lobby [IRL] who continue to promote policies that traumatize, murder and separate migrant communities, Black communities & indigenous, sovereign communities living along the border.

Who are the power players in the immigrant rights lobby [IRL]?

• Corporate Democrats like Luis Gutierrez and Dick Durbin

• Corporate Republicans like Donald Trump and Jeff Sessions

• State and Private Prisons like GEO Group and Corrections Corporation of America

• Israeli Apartheid Corporations like Elbit Systems and G4S Securities

• Surveillance Companies like Facebook, Google, & Microsoft

&

• Immigrant Rights “Non Profits” like Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, SEIU, and the Heartland Alliance.

How many immigrant child prisons does the Heartland Alliance operate in the Chicagoland area?

How many millions of dollars does ICIRR receive to promote anti-immigrant, anti-black, & anti-indigenous, pro-military legislation?

How many of us are ready to break away from corporate social justice movements and leaders?

[stay tuned…]

Seventh Grader Inspired to Create “We Walk For Her” March to Raise Attention About Missing Black Girls and Women

Far too many Black girls and women have gone missing, abducted, harmed and murdered

On Tuesday, June 19 at 4:30 PM on the last day of school there will be a March, #WeWalkForHer, to raise attention, educate and develop solutions to protect Black girls and women. Far too many beautiful, amazing, strong, loving and talented Black girls are disappearing, being abused and harmed and not enough is being done.

KOCO youth leader, Aziyah Roberts, age 13 “I was angry that Black girls and women around the city going missing, being harmed, abducted and even murdered and not much was being said or done about it. I went to my grandmother and to KOCO. I told them we should do a march, #WeWalkForHer”. “We want everyone to stop and listen because our Black girls are going missing!”, says Ms. Roberts.

Note: March will end at 51st/King Drive not 55th/King Drive.
