Since August 10th, Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union (BCTGM) workers at the Nabisco factory in Portland, Oregon have been on strike for basic healthcare protections, a livable wage, and a safe and respectful workplace. Since August 19th, over 300 workers at the factory at 7300 S Kedzie in Chicago have joined them, picketing outside the factory 24 hours a day.
