The current socio-political moment represents the most clear convergence of three specific issues in our lifetime: police violence, intra-community violence, and mass incarceration. Join the Coalition to End Money Bond on September 26th at 2pm at 37th & State streets as we descend upon the Chicago Police Department’s so-called “Public Safety Headquarters” in support of the Pretrial Fairness Act, a bill that will end money bond and dramatically reduce the number of people incarcerated while awaiting trial in Illinois.
