A peaceful march & rally against police brutality, social injustice and systemic racism. This is a MOVEMENT, not a moment. Come out to support Black Lives Matter and all of the black and brown members of our community.
Meet us outside of Church of the Good Shepherd (5 W. Washington St. Oswego, IL) at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2. From there, we will march to Prairie Point Park (4120 Plainfield Rd. Oswego, IL) for a rally beginning around 3:00 p.m.
Bring your own sign. Masks and social distancing is required. Police will be present to ensure our safety and our right to peacefully protest.
We have a variety of speakers representing the surrounding community. From students to adults, community members to educators, we are coming together to recognize the systemic issues in our community and the country.
PLEASE SHARE! We have social media photos that we can also send you to get the word out! Email us at the addresses below and we will send you what we have.
