Chicago college students coming together to kick off Black August and demand their schools:
-end relationships/contracts with FOP/CPD
-refuse to work with ICE
-reinvest in mental health and healthcare resources for students in the community
-lowering tuition & housing (if fall quarter continues online)

In solidarity, after a march beginning at Millennium Park at 7pm, students will have a block party (8pm-11pm) with local artists, food vendors, and have an open mic to create/build community in an effort to heal and transform our schools and communities towards liberation.

– exigir a las escuelas que terminen su relación/ contratos con FOP y CPD

En solidaridad, después de la marcha/protesta, los estudiantes tendrán una fiesta en la calle (8pm) con artistas locales, vendedores de comida, y tendrán un micrófono abierto para crear comunidad en un esfuerzo para sanar y transformar nuestras escuelas y comunidades en liberación.
