Join your fellow tenants for a march against Mac Properties. We will rally, share our stories, and then deliver a formal eviction notice at our landlord’s front door.
Tenants of Mac Properties in Hyde Park have had enough of their landlord’s constant neglect and exploitation. Our maintenance issues go unaddressed. We’ve lost our jobs due to COVID19 and then received zero rent relief. Rent increases every year with no clear explanation. Meanwhile Mac Properties passively sucks in government subsides and tenants’ last pennies, putting profits over people. No more!
All marchers will follow standard social distancing guidelines, including by wearing masks. Hand sanitizer will be readily available.
The path of the march will be mostly flat, accessible to anyone who can manage sidewalks and/or streets.
