On June 22nd two incidents of hate graffiti were discovered in Andersonville. Our goals are to condemn the racist graffiti, make space for Black and Black Trans voices to be heard in our neighborhood, and to call for the business community to take action.

We have created a framework of demands for the business community to provide a road map to an anti-racist neighborhood. Many of our demands are focused on tangible steps the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce can take to live up to its mission and create a sincerely inclusive neighborhood. We plan to release the framework of demands on Monday evening.

We hope this rally will signify the chamber and business community taking a major step in backing up their commitment to BIPOC neighbors and community with sincere action. The rally kicks off the 4th of July weekend. It is important to remember that celebrations of freedom mean little until we are all truly free. More to come as we confirm speakers, artists and location. Thanks
