This is a Non-violent protest SPECIFICALLY for children. This is a moment for families to teach their kids about non-violent protesting, standing up for what is right, and fighting racism. Parents MUST BE present. MASKS MUST BE WORN for the safety of our children. We encourage kids to make and bring their own signs. We will start at 39th & Drexel at Mandrake Park and march to 50th & Drexel to the steps of Rainbow Push Headquarters.
We welcome ALL RACES who are and desire their children to be anti-racist to join us! Don’t let your children miss out on the opportunity to express themselves and to stand against racism in a safe environment for them.
This event is hosted by the Chicago Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
