On November 11th 2018, Jemel Roberson, a 26 year old black man, was killed by police while working as a security guard in a nightclub in Robbins, IL. That night while working his shift, an active shooter entered the club. Jemel risked his life to stop the gunman and was killed by Midlothian police when they arrived on the scene.

Jemel was a devoted father, a talented musician and was cherished by his community. Jemel died a hero and he and his family deserve justice.

Police across our nation are targeting innocent black and brown people and must be held accountable for their actions.

On November 11th at 12 noon, to honor his heroic deed, we are peacefully marching from 201 E Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60602 (‘The Bean’) to State Attorney, Kim Foxx’s Office to demand Officer Ian Covey be indicted.

Unite with us on the anniversary of his untimely death as we demand #JusticeforJemel
