CTU and SEIU73 got their victory now let’s keep the pressure on! Monday, 11/4 at City Hall Mayor Lightfoot plans to present the budget for CPD. She wants to increase their budget by $121 million, PLUS an additional $33 million for police in schools! This is far from acceptable when our communities are suffering! We need jobs for youth! We need our public mental health centers reopened! We need affordable housing, we need care! We don’t need more police!
