Join the League of Women Voters of Illinois as we celebrate the commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of Illinois being the first state to ratify the 19th Amendment. The LWVIL Executive Director, Audra Wilson, will be speaking at 10:15 am about the importance of the League’s work that made this day possible in 1919 and the work that we are doing in 2019 that continues the fight to make democracy work for all. Lt. Governor Stratton and others will be in attendance to celebrate with us.

We are asking all League members and supporters to WEAR WHITE in solidarity and celebration of this historic moment that marks the 100 years of work of the League of Women Voters in Illinois and the state of Illinois in supporting the rights of women.
