CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER! NOTE: please check the link to the organizer’s site for last minute information.
Indivisible Chicago IL-5 groups will be heading down to 75th & Stewart to hang out on the block with our fellow activists from Mothers Against Senseless Killings (MASK) on Monday August 20th. We have signed up to bring the meal for that day (grillables, sides, drinks, treats, and paper/plasticware). We’ll need enough for 150 people so we need your help!
Below is a link to sign up to donate items we need. You can either bring them if you plan to join us or comment on the sign up that you just want to drop off and we can arrange a meet up on the North side. Food needs to be there around 3:30. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0a45aba729a6fd0-mask
Whether you sign up to bring food or not, feel free to show up and hang out, eat, and have fun! Most people in the neighborhood start showing up with their kids from 4:30 on.

“MASK (Mothers/Men Against Senseless Killings) was established in 2015 as a way to put eyes on the streets, interrupt violence and crime, and teach children to grow up as friends rather than enemies. A group of caring individuals in the community began to simply hang out on the block, cook food, and emanate love.”
