JULY 28th 2018 @ NOON
28 Julio @ Water Tower

We’ll march, protest, chant, laugh, sing, speak out and listen to one another as we talk about the realities of living inside rape culture and build a community to fight it!

This year’s intentions:
-Bringing support to the human that was arrested at last year’s Slutwalk Chicago…Lee. Addressing transphobia and HIV stigma.
-Moving through space aware of our rights and avoiding arrest*
*there is no guarantee ever that someone will not be arrested due to the legacy of police brutality in the US
-Centering the most vulnerable and marginalized survivors which include sex workers, trans and non-binary folks, & POC.
-Building community by continuing the tradition of making public space for survivors, and engaging in our annual speak-out after the walk
-Media attention for addressing rape culture

Endorsing groups include:

Community Cave

Gay Liberation Network

SWOP: Sex Workers Outreach Project Chicago

Justice for Alisha Walker Defense Campaign

We stand with sex workers and all workers who have to struggle against abuse, discrimination, sexual harassment or violence on the job.
