Washington DC is repealing the Affordable Care Act and dismantling Medicaid, Governor Rauner clings to irresponsible and harmful policies without a state budget, along with many additional issues impacting people with disabilities across Chicago, Illinois, the Midwest Region of the United States and the entirety of the United States, are just some of the reasons why we must gather together in force to resist the civil rights-stripping governments we face in every corner of our country, local, state and federal.

Speakers featured at the Rally will represent as many of the different cross-sections of our community, including Black, Latino and Latina, immigrants, queer siblings, women and individuals with varying types of disabilities. Worker rights, Black Lives, Trans Lives, Deaf Lives; they and all of us are at risk.

Together, we can demonstrate our Power in Community, Power in Identity, Power in Choice and Power in Our Very Lives.

Please reach out to us if you’re interested in speaking or know someone who would be a great speaker. Also reach out if you require an accommodation.

ASL and Spanish interpreters will be available.
